I feel that one of my biggest obstacles before I started with HSL was my very limited knowledge when it came to technique. I would go to the gym but the vast majority of the exercises that I did were done incorrectly. My initial goal was to increase my fitness to fit my active lifestyle, preparing me for the running season and better my fitness for soccer. When I started with Hussein I had just recovered from a knee injury received during soccer. But since I started training with him, I was able to improve my strength in my knees and I am once again playing soccer and I am more comfortable and safer from injuries. I feel that the work that I’ve done with Hussein has been a great learning experience for me and I have learnt a lot about my body and how to improve myself. I have noticed am improvement in my active life. My running has improved and I reached my new goal time on the 10K. When I go rock climbing I notice that I am more comfortable and I am able to tackle harder slopes. I would easily recommend Hussein as a coach to my friends and family. As I continue working with Hussein, my goal is basically to continue to improve my general fitness and better my exercise technique. It keeps getting better and better.
