I had felt that my health and lifestyle had been on a slow decline for a long time, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to turn it around in an impactful way.My initial goal was to lose weight and feel more comfortable in my own skin. Working with Hussein, not only was I able to lose weight and feel more comfortable, but I was also able build up core strength, leading to increased mobility and improved posture. My new goal as I continue training with Hussein is to focus on improving my endurance, in the hopes that I can partake in activities that I once believed were too demanding. Hussein was able to pinpoint issues that I had been unknowingly dealing with for years, and provide a tailored plan to get me back on track. Without his expertise, I may have found myself wasting numerous hours at the gym, continually dealing with existing issues. Becauseof my training with HSL, I find myself constantly catching bad habits, and making mental notes as I move throughout my day.
Whether it’s making small adjustments to my sleep schedule, upgrading food choices, or continually working on my posture, the improvements are numerous. I learned more about my own body on the first assessment day than I had previously known from training alone for multiple years. This has allowed me to properly focus on key points of my training, and pay attention to how my body is reacting.The increased mobility and posture I have achieved has lead to a more comfortable lifestyle, while the nutritional knowledge has improved my eating habits substantially.
