MEGHAN – PROJECT MANAGER

Before I started working with HSL Fitness my biggest fear was using the actual weights properly especially the free weights. Also that I was going to get big shoulders (I know that sounds weird). My biggest obstacle was actually overcoming the negative voice in my head when I had to do one more rep on the pull up bar. My initial goal was to overcome my injuries from running. I am not there yet but I am definitely a whole lot better since I started training with Hussein. My other goal is to get stronger in my shoulders specifically and I haven’t reached the goal I want to be but I am definitely beyond what I initially expected I was going to be at this point in the program.

My new goal is to continue getting lean, stay strong, and committed to the plan and also stay injury free. The assessments were helpful as a foundation and I realized how weak I really was even as an elite athlete at the time. This training program with Hussein has made me feel more confident and all around I feel healthier and more energetic than ever before. I also have developed better eating habits and I live a more balanced lifestyle. I now know where my weaknesses are in my body and what I need to focus on to get to my goals of being stronger. I overcame my injuries, I reduced my stress and I eat and feel better as well. I would definitely recommend Hussein as a coach. As an athlete I need to always be challenged to stay motivated. Hussein provides a positive and challenging training plan that makes me want to work hard keep improving. He’s a great coach and mentor and pushes and encourages you to find and know your limits.
